Given the nature of the Exiled Lands, which Douthett described as a "prison" that traps players within its environment, this technically should prevent them from moving outside the Exiled Lands. While the developers have no plans to add focused content for the Isle of Siptah that "won't also go into the Exiled Lands," they have been thinking about another aspect to add to the existing map. It's different content than the Exiled Lands, but that's really Siptah's goal! Instead of being more of the same, it's another unique adventure you can have in Conan Exiles. The Isle of Siptah has a massive amount of content we packed into it throughout development. While development on the Isle of Siptah was extensive, the developer included as much content possible at launch, including new bosses, maelstroms, unique biomes, and, more recently, treasures.
This looks to change as, according to Douthett, there are plans regarding maps which should excite the player base. Currently, players can get to grips with the brutal world of Conan Exiles on its two official maps, including the Isle of Siptah. The map was first released through Steam's Early Access in September 2020 before its full release in May 2021 however, many cited that not enough content has been added to Siptah since. We're still working hard on this so if there's any feedback or additions you'd like us to add, please let us know and we'll do our best to add it.It's known within the Conan Exiles community that players have wanted an expansion to its current map since the Isle of Siptah map launch. The Exiled Lands Map [Note: The map is still a work-in-progress, but currently contains over 2000 markers which you can filter and search, most of them with screenshots, showing the following: The Exiled Lands map includes locations for all Resources like Ore and Plants, Animal locations, World Bosses, Thrall and Faction Camps including Named Thralls, Dungeons and their bosses, Vistas and other locations, Merchants and much more! Most markers have been carefully verified with screenshots. We've been revisiting Conan again since the Age of Sorcery expansion and found that a lot of the maps out there are somewhat outdated and missing new additions/factually inaccurate so we decided to create a more up to date version, powered by our massive database.
